Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Pixsee, all in one place.

General

No. Sign up with your email, and a wallet is created for you automatically behind the scenes. You can fund it with a card or Apple Pay. You never have to touch seed phrases, gas, or exchanges.

Signing up and browsing are always free, and plenty of shows are free too. Paid episodes are priced per minute in USDC on that show's own bonding curve, starting as low as $0.001/minute for a brand-new show. You only pay for what you unlock.

Each show has its own TIX token. Buying TIX unlocks watch time on that show, and price moves with demand on the show's bonding curve between a fixed floor and cap. You can also trade TIX on Scout, Pixsee's in-app marketplace.

90% of every dollar spent unlocking an episode goes to the creator - 18% released right away, and the rest unlocked gradually over the next 28 days (or sooner, for a cut). Creators also earn 1% of every TIX trade on their show. A show's earnings sit in a 72-hour safety hold right after launch before any of this is claimable, giving the community time to flag a problem first. Earnings still accrue and are visible on your Dashboard either way, but actually withdrawing them requires a one-time identity check (KYC) - it only needs to be done once, and after that every future payout withdraws normally.

Normally, no - episode unlocks are on-chain transactions and are final. If you're holding TIX you no longer want, you can sell it back anytime on Scout at the live market price - your funds aren't locked into any single show. The one exception: if a show you watched or traded is later found guilty after a report, its frozen creator earnings become a fee-free refund pool, and you get back your own exact contribution - 100% of what you put in.

A moderator can open a review on a reported show. While under review, new TIX purchases pause and the creator's earnings freeze, but you can still watch and still sell TIX you already hold. If the show is cleared, everything reopens as normal. If it's found guilty, the show is shut down for good and refunds become claimable for anyone who paid to watch or traded its TIX.

Not to browse or watch. A quick one-time identity check is required before you can withdraw creator earnings, launch a show, or make a larger transaction - unverified creators can still watch, accrue earnings, and track everything on their Dashboard, they just can't cash out until KYC is complete.

Yes. Every price shows in USD with your local currency alongside it, detected automatically from your location and editable anytime in your profile settings.

Share your referral link or code. When someone joins through it, you earn 7% of every point they earn on Pixsee, for as long as they're active - no cap, no expiry.

How Pixsee Works

No. Sign up with email, pay with a card or Apple Pay, and start watching. A wallet is created for you automatically. You never need to touch the technical side. Pixsee handles it.

Signing up and browsing are always free. Some shows are free. Premium episodes require TIX. There is no required subscription. You pay only for what you actually watch.

Each show's Box Office adjusts TIX price as TIX are bought and sold, between a floor and a cap. Early fans pay the least. The cap means the price can never exceed that ceiling.

Automatically. 10% of every TIX you spend watching a show comes back to you as a viewer reward. You also earn SEE Points for activity, which build your reputation and unlock perks.

90% of every dollar spent watching goes to the creator: 18% released right away, and the rest unlocked gradually over the next 28 days (or sooner, for a cut). They also earn 1% of every TIX traded on their show. A show's very first earnings sit in a 72-hour safety hold before any of this becomes claimable - after that, payouts run on the normal schedule for as long as the show is live. A 7% platform fee applies only when claiming. Withdrawing any of it also requires a one-time identity check (KYC) - earnings still accrue and show on your Dashboard before that, they just can't be cashed out yet.

Not to browse or watch - that's always open. A one-time identity check is required before a creator can withdraw earnings, launch a show, or make a larger transaction. It only needs to be done once.

TIX are access tokens. They buy watch time and can be scouted, and their price moves with demand. But they're not equity, they pay no dividends, and their value isn't guaranteed.

$PIX is Pixsee's voting token, coming soon. It will allow users to vote for shows and content on the platform. TIX are different - they're per-show tokens you buy to watch and scout.

Pixsee supports landscape (16:9) and portrait (9:16) video. Creators can upload a single video, a short film, or a multi-episode series. Content categories include film, drama, action, comedy, thriller, romance, music, and sports.
